Creating Hairs in Maya

Hiya!

Done some research about using Hairs in Maya - there's actually a lot to cover!

This is just the basics about creating hair on Maya (this info can be found if you open up the Maya program and select: Help -> Maya Help and it will take you to its website - just type in hair):

I am not feeling well today so I'm gonna stay home and work instead - I'll post up more research later today since I'm not going to be in today's group meeting.

Hi Josie!

Yeah, do u remember what we talked about at the last meeting? We dont want real hair, it would take weeks to animate. We need fixed hair, do u know what I mean when I said fixed hair? I'll see what I kind find to show u what I mean but u have basicly researched the wrong thing. It's in the protocoll from the last meeting with the list of task everyone should do as well if u dont remember what we talked about then double check the list so that u dont work on the wrong things escpecially now when we have so little time.

Hope u feel better soon!

Peace n Luv,

oh sorry - I thought I show the group what it would be like if we used real hair.

But don't worry, I got a Maya Book at home so I can easily scan some info and post it up on the blog - I'll do a better job of research to make-up for the mistake!

Don't worry Josie, I am just grumpy cos we were so few at the meeting and NO ONE has given me what they were supposed to give me for today while I was up all nite making sure I had done my part so- I am not angry with u okej, Just tiiiiiiired and disapointed about today.

But do u know what I mean with fixed hair? I think the dad in Superheroes gat fixed hair and maybe even the Mom, I'll have a look :)

How do u feel then? Managed to get some sleep?

No don't say sorry - I know its already hard enough for you as the Director/producer for this project. You have to right to feel angry so you shouldn't hold it in really - bad for your health!

If you need any other help just ask and I'll do my best ok? :)

P.S - I'm still feeling tired and stressed but much better than this morning - thanks for asking :)
